New School building extends reach to more than 800 students in Siem Reap

The Hearts Company is excited to update you on some exciting news about Cambodia!

The pandemic has been a hard time for many people around the world, including our students in Siem Reap.

During this difficult situation, our organization decided to utilize the time while our schools were shut down and take action!

In March of 2021, we successfully launched a fundraiser to fund an entirely new school building to provide education to an additional 150+ new students in a rural community in Siem Reap.

And now we’re excited to let you know that our 3rd school is officially completed!!

This will expand our reach to over 800 children between all 3 of our Hearts Company supported schools in Siem Reap.

We would also love to give a huge THANK YOU to Adksills, an incredible company that sponsored 50% of our last building project.

Throughout the pandemic, the government required a mandatory shut down of all public facilities, including schools, for the safety of the communities. This included our schools in Cambodia.

Unfortunately, our schools are still currently closed and the current projected time for our schools to be reopened is October of 2021. Although, this date could change at any moment.

During this time, not only have we completed a new school, but we have also completely redesigned our website with a more user-friendly layout that provides more information on how you can sponsor a school or project in Cambodia!

We're looking forward to reopening our schools and having our students back in our classrooms. These hard times have reminded us how important our mission is to provide our students with the education they need to be successful.
